Dallas Buyers Club, LLC Files 11 More Suits in the Northern District of Illinois – 179 More Does in Trouble

I have never watched Dallas Buyers Club, but it must be a great movie, as Dallas Buyers Club, LLC  just keeps on filing lawsuits against downloaders.  Dallas Buyers Club, LLC filed eleven more cases in the Northern District of Illinois against another 179 Does. These cases seek to enforce the copyright in the film “Dallas Buyers Club,” and will likely result in another round of ISP subpoena letters going out in 6 – 10 weeks.  The individual cases are:

Dallas Buyers Club, LLC v. Does 1-17 (Case No. 2014-CV-7559)

Dallas Buyers Club, LLC v. Does 1-18 (Case No. 2014-CV-7560)

Dallas Buyers Club, LLC v. Does 1-19 (Case No. 2014-CV-7561)

Dallas Buyers Club, LLC v. Does 1-21 (Case No. 2014-CV-7565)

Dallas Buyers Club, LLC v. Does 1-23 (Case No. 2014-CV-7566)

Dallas Buyers Club, LLC v. Does 1-25 (Case No. 2014-CV-7568)

This brings the total number of Does sued in the Northern District of Illinois to 1890.  This campaign, which was already one of the largest file sharing campaigns launched in the Northern District, just keeps on growing.
